Radio Mahak – 89.6 FM

Radio Mahak- 89.6 FM, The Community Radio Station established at the Head Office of Banabasi Seva Samiti and approved by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India, has been functioning successfully since 13th August 2023. Responding to the needs and aspirations of the local community, the station broadcasts valuable information on public issues, discussions on social development, updates on various government welfare schemes, and engaging entertainment programmes. All programmes are designed and presented by trained and professional personnel to ensure quality and meaningful impact. At present, Radio Mahak broadcasts for seven hours daily—from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 PM— with plans underway to extend broadcasting hours in the coming days. The station has rapidly gained popularity across all sections of society and continues to evolve as a strong medium for community awareness, empowerment and entertainment.
